History of Bayside Christian Church

Bayside Christian Church was commenced as an outreach from the Maryborough Assembly of God in the beachside town of Urangan in 1940. The church grew during the 80’s and 90’s as the Hervey Bay area was rapidly expanding.

In October 2001 Pastor Ross & Mary Davie and their family moved to Hervey Bay from the Sunshine Coast to become the Senior Pastors. The last 7 years have seen the church grow to become a healthy and vibrant regional church with over 600 people now calling Bayside their spiritual home.
